Financial Planning

The term financial planning can mean different things to different people. Some people may require a comprehensive financial planning package, covering all aspects of their personal finances, from savings and investments to retirement planning, tax planning and life assurance. Others may simply require advice relating to one or more of these areas only.

At MGP, we aim to provide advice that is as comprehensive as is required by each individual client, without insisting that all clients receive advice across all areas.

As Chartered Financial Planners, we are committed to providing a comprehensive service to our clients, but we are aware that there will be situations where we are unable to provide assistance, and specialist advice will be required. We frequently work with specialist providers of such advice, along with other professionals such as accountants, solicitors and stockbrokers.
The financial planning process may involve the following process:-
  • Establishing your short, medium and long term goals.
  • Gathering your financial data.
  • Analysing and evaluating your financial status.
  • Developing your plan.
  • Implementing your plan.
  • Monitoring your plan and making adjustments as necessary.

By matching your finances to your goals you will have a much clearer view of where you are going in life, reducing the stress involved and allowing you to feel in control, on track and have peace of mind.
